Louise is our Nurse Practitioner/prescriber & lead nurse for the practice. She is also the Clinical Nurse lead for Wallington and supports all nurses in Wallington.
She is responsible for the supervision and support of our nursing team.
As well as providing general nursing care Louise is able to see, assess and prescribe for a wide range of minor ailments. There are minor ailments appointments available daily with her.
She is also Diabetes, Asthma and Family Planning trained (excluding coils and implants).
Elsa works at both the main and branch sites. She provides all aspects of general nursing care such as wound management, spirometry, adult and child vaccinations and immunisations & cervical smear tests.
Chantelle joins us from a District Nurse background. She has undergone training in Practice nursing and has completed her diploma. She can perform the full range of practice nurse tasks from childhood and adult vaccinations, cytology screening, Hypertension management, dressings, ear syringing.
Jackie works at both the main and branch surgery primarily carrying out our phlebotomy service. She also assists with the Family Planning Clinics.
Anne Holburn (AMSPAR dip PCM 1993) is our Practice Manager. She is responsible for the strategic and business development of the practice in conjunction with the partners. She oversees the running of the practice and her responsibilities include: Recruitment, HR,Premises management, Health and Safety, Complaint management. Finance, Business administration and development
Katie is our Operations Manager based at our branch surgery. Katie is responsible for coordinating staff and facilities management across both of our sites and is responsible for the coordination of surgery appointment management as directed by the partners. Katie works closely with the Anne our practice manager taking charge of the day to day operational management of the practice.
Michelle Bowen is our private fee clerk and team leader to our work flow and scanning clerks.:
Their roles include scanning, electronic filing, coding and work flow management.
Stella wirks as the prescribing clerk for our practice. She processes all requests for repeat prescriptions received either manually or by post. she deals with any queries raised and contacts the patients accordingly.
We have a team of 9 receptionists
Sandra, Marianne, Debbie, Maria, Sue, Althea, Sam, Joanne and Ella.
PgDip - in Physicians Associate studies
MSc - in Molecular Biology & Pathway
BSc - Honours in Biomedical Informatics
Physicians Associates are formally trained to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment. Working as members of the health care team, PAs take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays and make diagnoses.
