Breast Screening

Manor practice will start to have it's automatic Breast Screening call for patients aged 50 to 70 years of age. This will commence on the 19th September 2014 through to 27th October 2014. Patients will receive letters inviting them to attend for breast screening appointments. It is important that you attend your appointment. If it is not convenient you can contact them on 0208 725 2723 or visit their website on www.swlbreastscreening.co.uk to rearrange a more convenient appointment .

 

Please note if your 50th birthday falls after the above dates you will not be called until the next 3 year recall cycle but should you have any concerns or worries you should make an appointment with a GP in the first instance 

If you are aged 70+ you are still eligible for breast screening but will not automatically be called through the practice system. You should contact 0208 725 2723 to request a screening appointment.

Please note that patients under the age of 50 are not currently eligible for breast screening but should contact their GP  in the first instanceif they have any concerns.

Women are usually invited to the site closest to where they live but you can rearrange their appointment to any of the following sites if more convenient:

The Rose Centre, St George's Hospital, Tooting

Robin Hood Lane Health Centre, Sutton

Edreidge Road Community Health Centre, Croydon

Surbiton Health Centre

Teddington Memorial Hospital

Sir William Rous Unit, Kingston Hospital

X-Ray Department, Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton
